The speculation is over concerning highly touted QB Tyrik Rollison. Rollison has been cleared by the NCAA Clearinghouse and will start classes next week, according to AuburnSports.com. Rollison was a four-star recruit out of Sulpher Springs (TX) High School as well as the No. 2 ranked dual-threat quarterback in the country, but there were major questions about him qualifying academically for the 2009-2010 school year. Honestly, I didn't think he was going to get in. There were numerous reports about his coaches and even himself saying he would get into school, and obviously they were right, but I thought this was going to be a long, drawn out process where Rollison wouldn't here anything until early August and the news wouldn't be good. But he's cleared, he's in school and he will compete for the starting QB job this season. This is great news for the Auburn nation.
