This is very disappointing news. I am confused by several things here: If this was submitted to the NCAA back in January as stated by MSU officials then why is this surfacing now and why is it significant? Apparently Auburn also knew about this, why was he (Newton) never held out of a game?
Then more disturbing news here: http://www.killerfrogs.com/msgboard/index.php?showtopic=125319&st=0
This is a TCU message board that claims that the tapes of the alleged conversations had just surfaced recently, whether that part is true or not is debatable, BUT the big tthing here is that this news was posted here and tweeted long before the news broke on ESPN or Fox Sports.
I don't know about all of you, but this discouraged me greatly when I awoke this morning. I want so badly to defend Cam and his family, but it seems everyday the situation looks more and more bleak. How long can excuses be made for the accusations? The situation has definitley been escalated over night. My biggest wish is that all of the info that is out there just be brought to the forefront, as of right now Auburn (and Newton) is being hit by haymaker after haymaker every day in the news. War Eagle friends, let's all try to sustain hope that this situation will resolve itself quickly.
War Eagle! Beat Georgia!
