Casey McElroy (23) is greeted after a homerun by teammates earlier this year, including Tony Caldwell (14).

As the Auburn Baseball team prepared to play No.1 South Carolina in the SEC Tournament, two Tiger standouts were name to the All-SEC Teams on Tuesday.

Junior Casey McElroy (shortstop) was named to the First Team and senior Tony Caldwell (catcher) was placed on the Second Team.

McElroy ranks in the top 10 in the SEC in almost every offensive category.  He leads the league in hits with 84,  has 8 homeruns, 52 RBI's, an SEC batting average of .398, a .427 on base percentage, and a slugging pct. of .555 .

Tony Caldwell is hitting .367 in SEC games with 7 doubles, 4 home runs and 33 RBI's. He has had a great year defensively behind the plate and is a semifinalist for the Johmmy Bench award which honors the nation's best catcher in college baseball.

This makes the second consecutive year that Auburn has had multiple All-SEC selections. Auburn had six on last year's Western Division Championship Team.

Congratulations Tigers. Good luck in the Tournament!
