More good news from the Plains, junior running back Onterio McCalebb has decided against submitting his name for the NFL draft and will be back for his senior year.
Coach Chizik's said he was ... "excited to have Onterio returning for his senior season. He is really focused on having a great senior year and providing leadership for our team this coming season."
"I talked to a lot of people and it was a hard decision, but I love Coach Chizik and our coaches like they are my father, and I love my teammates.
I'm looking forward to coming back for my senior season to make myself a better player and to help my teammates win football games for Auburn and the Auburn family."
The junior running back was Second Team All-SEC and the offensive MVP of the Chik-fil-a Bowl. He scored seven touchdowns this year and is ninth on Auburn's All Time All-Purpose Yards list with 3,341.
This announcement along with Phillip Lutzenkirchen's decission on Sunday to return is certainly good news for Auburn fans. All we need to hear now is that the Tigers number one receiver Emory Blake will definitely be back as well.
