Gene Chizik was not exactly pleased with the physicality of the first Auburn spring practice in full gear.

"We are trying to develop a physical mentality that we need, which we are a ways off. Today they started okay at best, but they picked up a little at the end Wednesday the need to pick it up early."

Also there are injuries to report. Clint Moseley has an inflamed rotator cuff, and did not throw in practice on Tuesday.

Running back Tre Mason says he is ready for the contact part of practice. I am pleased with his attitude, and his eagerness to get better. Watch this video and see if you aren't equally impressed.

The Tigers take today off, and will get back after it on Wednesday.
