Brandon Mosley Drafted By Giants

Brandon Mosley

Auburn had four players taken in last year's NFL Draft. Today Brandon Mosley became the first Auburn player to be drafted for 2012.

He was chosen in the fourth round by the Super Bowl Champion New York Giants

The 6'6", 314 lb. tackle was the Giants' fifth overall selection, and the first offensive lineman they selected.

This is especially good news for a guy who has only played two years as an offensive tackle. Brandon was a tight end in junior college before playing tackle for the Tigers.

After getting the call from the Giants, Brandon said,

"It was a long journey and process during my playing career, but it was well worth it. I wouldn't have changed anything along the way."

Next up on the board from Auburn may be Defensive back Neiko Thorpe. There are also reports that long snapper Josh Harris may not be drafted but will be offered a free agent deal after the draft is over.
