Charles Goldberg is reporting that senior wide receiver DeAngelo Benton has been suspended indefinitely. Benton's suspension comes as a result of breaking the always popular "undisclosed team rule." It's hard to be too shocked about this news. Benton has came to Auburn with plenty of hype, but he has never lived up to his potential. Benton testified at the robbery trial of former teammate Antonio Goodwin that he bought synthetic marijuana, smoked and drank at his apartment with teammates. Who knows what he did to get suspended, but Benton was on razor-thin ice. Here's hoping Benton can work his way back onto the team and contribute during his final season at Auburn.
