Marcus Davis made his commitment to Auburn official on National Signing Day.
Marcus Davis, the No. 167 rated recruit in Florida according to 247Sports, has officially signed to play for Auburn. Davis faxed in his National Letter of Intent earlier Wednesday.
Davis, who played for American Heritage High School in Delray Beach, Florida, chose Auburn over Wake Forest and Boston College, the 2 other finalists for his services.
Davis was the 87th-highest cornerback in the 247Sports rankings, trailing. He joins an Auburn secondary that has improved slightly over the past year, but still has a long way to go to become an elite squad.
