Three-star wide receiver Dominic Walker made his commitment to Auburn official on National Signing Day.
Dominic Walker, the No. 558-rated recruit in the nation according to 247Sports, announced his intention to sign with Auburn during a press conference Wednesday. Walker flipped his commitment from Nebraska to Auburn on Jan. 25.
Walker, who played for Orlando, FL, Evans High School, chose the Tigers over Nebraska, Boston College, Cincinnati, and Florida State.
Walker decided that Auburn was a better fit because it was closer to home, and is excited to play college ball with fellow commit Tony Stevens. Nebraska pushed hard, but in the end Walker chose Auburn just 5 days after his teammate flipped from Texas A&M to the Tigers.
Walker is the no.73 wide receiver in the nation according to 247sports, and the number 82 wide receiver in the talent rich state of Florida. He is expected to come in and compete for playing time immediately.
