Home on the Plains: Cougars, Dogs and Dirtbags

Michael Chang

Don't miss a soccer and football sandwich this weekend on the Plains.

Don't let the pending Friday the 13th scare you away from enjoying a weekend of Auburn Athletics. War Eagle!

Friday

Soccer vs. College of Charleston, Auburn Soccer Complex, 7 p.m.

Auburn has already beaten Cougars on the football field this year, and Friday night the Tigers look to do it on the pitch. The first 50 students in attendance will receive vouchers valid for free hot dogs. It will be Local Heroes Night at the Complex, and all local first responders are invited to attend and be recognized. Admission is free for all.

Saturday

Football vs. Mississippi State, Jordan-Hare Stadium, 6 p.m.

Get more game day information than you know what to do with here.

Sunday

Soccer vs. Long Beach State, AU Soccer Complex, 2 p.m.

As an Auburn fan, I'm sure you've been asked, "Are you guys Tigers or War Eagles? Har-dee-har-har". Well, fans of Long Beach State are asked, "Are you a 49er, a "The Beach" or a dirtbag?". Come see our Lady Tigers go for a victory against the 49ers/The Beach/Dirtbags on Sunday. Admission is free.
