I'll try to make this a thing, but I might forget. Take these with a grain of salt, because the 4 I would have posted last week all lost. Here are 4 games I like this week:
- West Virginia (-39) over Georgia State: WVU struggled on offense last week against Oklahoma, and I think they try to break out this week. Georgia State is just awful. Honestly I think this line is there because they think WVU will ease off the gas once they build a big lead. I think WVU pours it on to try and fix a few things.
- Maryland (-7) over Connecticutt: This is probably the game I'm least confident in, but I think Maryland has found a few things on offense. UCONN had issues stopping Towson at home, so I don't think stopping CJ Brown and Stefon Diggs will be an easier proposition.
- Mississippi (+2.5) over Texas: You're giving me 2.5 points? I'd take the Rebels/Black Bears on up to -6.5. I could be spectacularly wrong, and maybe Texas fixes everything from last week, but I think Mississippi dominates in this game. Texas is also without David Ash, who shredded Mississippi last year. This line just seems like Vegas isn't ready to bury Texas just yet. I am.
- Louisville (-14) over Kentucky: LOCK OF THE WEEK. All due respect to what Coach Stoops is trying to build in Lexington, but this one is going to get ugly. Western Kentucky nearly covered 14 against the Wildcats. You're telling me Teddy Bridgewater won't?
