I have a weird one for you today.  Over the weekend, Jason Campbell’s 2004 Perfect Season ring appeared on Ebay. The item received 82 bids and listed for $6,500.

You are probably thinking the same thing I am.  Why would the quarterback of the Washington Redskins put his perfect season ring on Ebay? There’s no indication that Campbell personally sold it.

The ring was listed by someone who uses the seller name Jammtiger. I’m going to take a wild guess and say that Campbell doesn’t spend his free time selling things on Ebay.

Then again, it looks like he may have more free time on his hands after what Todd Collins did at quarterback in his absence.

Why would he sell a ring that should hold so much personal value? Did he know the ring was for sale? Did someone close to him sell it?

I believe there’s more to the story than meets the eye.  My guess is Campbell probably would like to have it back. Odds are he may never see it again. What a shame.
