As our thoughts move away from football this week and toward our family and friends, I want to take a moment to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas. I know I speak for Greg, John and Zach when I say that our best wishes and prayers are with all of you this holiday season.
This hasn't been an easy year for anyone; and I'm not just talking about on the football field. Because of these uncertain economic times, there are a lot of people hurting this year. Let's pray they find comfort with family and friends over the next two weeks. As we share time with the people who mean most to us, let's not forget the real reason we celebrate Christmas.
We are going to take a few days off ourselves to be with family and recharge the batteries a little. With the University closed and the athletic department empty, there should be very little news coming from the Plains the rest of the week. However, should something break, we'll be on it here at Track'em Tigers.
Have a great week and we'll catch up with you next Monday. Merry Christmas and War Eagle!
