Mark Schlabach of ESPN wrote a column yesterday that ranked the top 10 most hated college football teams in America. Ohio State, USC and Notre Dame rounded out the top three. Florida was the highest ranked SEC team, coming in fourth. Alabama was eighth on the list. Tennessee finished tenth.
Writing about Alabama, Schlabach said, "Many college football fans are tired of hearing about Paul "Bear" Bryant. The Crimson Tide will never stop talking about him. Tide fans cling to the past with an obsessive desperation. Hate to break it to you, but Bear Bryant and all his brilliance ain't coming back."
Like I've said before, our generation has benefited from Paul "Bear" Bryant. His legacy has done as much to bring that program down as he did building it up while coaching. Bama fans have allowed his shadow to wreck a once proud program.
The column got me thinking. Who are my top 10 most hated teams? The first two are obvious. After that, I had to do a little thinking. But not to worry, all the hate came rushing back quickly.
Listed below are my top 10 most hated teams. I'd like to read your top 10. Share them with us in the comment section. This should be interesting.

- Georgia
- LSU
- Florida
- Florida State
- Tennessee

- Southern Cal
- Oklahoma
- Miami ( I know Patrick Nix is on staff; I still hate them)
