The Sad Case of Jesse Palmer

Are you kidding me?
Are you kidding me?

Can someone explain to me what the deal with Jesse Palmer is? The former Florida quarterback and girly-acting ESPN studio host appears to have a serious grudge against Auburn. For three weeks running on the Sunday BCS Countdown Show, Palmer has done his best to discredit Auburn.

On tonight's show he went into a two-minute attack on Auburn and said the Tigers shouldn't play for a title if Cam Newton is ruled ineligible. Fellow host Craig James laughed off the seriousness of his tone. It's one thing to take a stand, but his body language shows something much deeper.

I've never liked him personally. There's something about a grown man crying about love on national television that's just weird. Plus he's Canadian. Canadians talking about college football is unnatural. It's the same reason I don't like John Saunders.

The CBC wouldn't hire me to talk hockey. I'm just saying...
