Here We Go Again.....Why the hell do I watch ESPN?

#1 in the BCS: Check.

SEC West Champions: Check.

Undefeated in the toughest conference in college football: Check.

Underdog in the SEC Chapionship game: Check.

Wait......what?

Underdog? AGAIN? I'm watching ESPN this morning and it's absolutely amazing. ESPN hates us. They are all picking South Carolina to beat Auburn in the SECCG Saturday.

No, really, I'm serious. Are these guys ever going to learn?

First, they try their damndest to smear our quarterback, with ABSOLUTELY NO PROOF OF ANYTHING WHATSOEVER, then they pick us to lose every week, then they are absolutely sure Alabama is going to beat us. I am now completely convince of one of two things: 1. ESPN is full of functional idiots that have absolutely no idea what they are talking about, or 2: An Auburn fan must have fucked ESPN's CEO's sister and never called her.

Of course, you have to bear in mind that these are the same guys that have been pushing Boise freaking State as the best team in the country all year. I'll say it again.....BOISE MOTHER-FUDGING STATE. The best JUCO team playing in FBS. They lose to Nevada, (who is BAD by the way, did anybody actually WATCH the game?) and now ESPN is saying nothing, and hoping like hell that everyone forgets the last 3 months of them getting bluelip from blowing Chris Petersen and Kellen Moore. Boise is undersized, slow, and plays against pathetically weak competition. After Nevada beat Boise, ESPN spent a whole day talking them up. I remember Herbstreit spewing something like "This Nevada team can beat anybody in the country!" Are you freaking kidding me Herbie boy? They SUCK. I will say that I love their offensive scheme, and I think their OC is ready for bigtime college football. (Coach Chiz, I hope you're reading this, when Malzhan goes, this guy might be a good one to go after.) They have a decent QB and a couple of decent skill position players. I'll say again, DECENT. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd put them in the 6.5 to 7.5 range. The rest of the team SUCKS. Their OL is undersized as hell and their defense is beyond bad. They can't tackle, they are slow as hell, don't break on the ball, take bad angles, and are severely undersized. Nevada would get decimated by nearly every SEC team. LSU's defense would wipe the floor with their offensive personnel. Auburn's offense would score 70 on them without even trying. Boise is the same way......the talent level on their team is extremely low, but, to Petersen's credit, they are one of the most well coached teams out there. Why is nobody talking about Kellen Moore for the NFL draft? The reason is that he is a system QB with a VERY average arm, playing against pathetic competition. He might go in the 3rd round at best. He's accurate as hell, and throws very well on the run, but his arm strength is average on a good day, and he is very undersized. He'll probably get on in the NFL somewhere and be a backup but that's all he'll ever be. Reminds me a lot of Danny Wuerffell. However, I'd love to see what Petersen and his staff could do in Texas or Florida, where they actually have a talent pool to recruit from.

Anyway, I'm glad that ESPN picked us to lose. Hopefully, we'll make them look stupid again, and then they can pick Oregon to beat us in the NCG. It's worked for us so far. War Eagle!!

We're all just trying to have a good time here. Don't be a jerk, and we won't have a problem with you. War Eagle!
