A uat troll started a thread on ATQ about a guide to hate Auburn. I saw it early on and made a post or two but soon stayed away because of the nature of the posts. It started out funny but soon sunk to the lows that you would expect from uat folks. I really can't believe that the editors of the UA blog site allowed it to go on.

The thread currently has over 900 posts and is total crap. I know I am an old fart but the current thread sounds very middle schoolish. The reason I fell in love with TET is because the members stuck to football matters and a love for AU. This is the way is should be. TET is an Auburn blog.

We all know the rivalry and we all know that it is not bad for the AU vs UA fan base. If it were not for that, we would be no more interesting than Harvard vs. Yale. I have poked fun at uat (see I did it again) but I have and will never stoop to the depths that this thread is spewing.

The jokes and name calling are part of what it is all about in this rivalry, but to allow this thread to continue is going over the top. I know several TET regulars have tried to lend some decency to the thread to no avail.

Please Jay. never let this happen at TET.
