Coach Pawlowski's Letter To The Auburn Family

John Pawlowski has brought a " winning expectation " to Auburn Baseball.

Auburn Athletic Director Jay Jacobs released the following letter from Head Baseball Coach John Pawlowski to the Auburn family. Pawlowski  led the Tigers to an SEC Western Division Championship, the most wins in school history, and the hosting of an NCAA Regional at Auburn.

To the Auburn Family,

On behalf of our players and our staff, I want to thank you for helping make the 2010 baseball season a truly special one.

Hosting the NCAA Regional was an incredible experience for our players because of you and your support.  From the sell-out crowds who filled the stadium and packed the Terrace, to the thousands of fans who lined the parking deck and watched from the hillside, the atmosphere was phenomenal.

I can't tell you how much your support means to our players and to our baseball program.  While we still have work to do to build the sort of championship program we all want to see, the 2010 season was a huge step forward for Auburn baseball.

A special thanks also goes to our loyal season ticket holders who support us year after year, game after game.  Your loyalty and your passion mean more to our players than you could possibly know.

When Jay Jacobs hired me as Auburn's baseball coach, he told me that Auburn is a special place.  The incredible spirit and support that you showed during the 2010 NCAA Regional made all of us realize that not only is Auburn University a truly special place,  Auburn fans are the best in the country.

We appreciate your support, and we hope to see you at the 2011 baseball season opener.

Thanks again, and War Eagle!

Coach John Pawlowski,

No Coach, it's the Auburn Family who want to thank you ...  for leading Auburn to its best season in 15 years!
