Auburn sophomore Steven Clark is a semifinalist for nation's top punter award.

Auburn punter Steven Clark has been named one of 10 semifinalists for the Ray Guy Award, the award honors the nation's best punter in college football.

A national voting body of Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) coaches, sports information directors, national media and former Ray Guy Award winners will decide the three award finalists, who will be announced on Nov. 21.

The winner of the Ray Guy Award will be announced on The Home Depot College Football Awards show on ESPN December 8 at 8 p.m. CST.

Steven has a 40.1 yards per punt average. He is No.1 in the Southeastern Conference and tied for second in the nation in placing 25 of his 55 punts inside the 20 yard line.

Only eight of Steven's punts have been returned this season for just 41 yards; and because of it he has twice been named the SEC Special Teams Player of the Week.

Congratulations Steven and War Eagle!
