Three Auburn players have been named to the All- South Eastern Conference Team. Tiger Running Back Mike Dyer was named to the Associated Press first team. Tight End Phillip Lutzenkirchen and sophomore Defensive End Corey Lemonier were named to the All-SEC second team.
Lemonier has 44 tackles for the year, ranks second in the SEC in sacks (9 1/2), and is fifth in tackles for loss (13 1/2).
Lutzenkirchen is Auburn's all-time career leader in touchdowns by a Tight End. The junior leads the SEC Tight Ends with 24 receptions for 238 yards and seven touchdowns.
Dyer, the Most Valuable Player in the 2011 BCS National Championship game became the first Auburn Tiger since Carnell Williams to rush for over 1,000 yards in back to back seasons. The Cadillac did it in 2003-2004.
Michael is also the first Auburn player to have at least 1,000 yards rushing in his freshman and sophomore years. He is second in the SEC in rushing amassing 1,242 yards and 10 Touchdowns so far this season with a bowl game left to play.
