So much for this being a down year in the SEC. The conference is two wins away from making up half the Final Four bracket. Kentucky wrecked the dreams of many last night when they knocked off tournament top-seed Ohio State, 62-60. If you're like me, your chances of winning the office pool went down in flames with the Buckeyes.
This afternoon, second-seed Florida tries to punch its ticket to Houston when it faces perennial Cinderella foe Butler in New Orleans. A win will send Butler to its second consecutive Final Four - not bad for a program few people had heard of five years ago.
The second matchup features Arizona (30-7) against Connecticut (29-9). UConn knocked off second-seed San Diego State on Thursday, while Arizona handled defending national champion Duke.
