Big Cat Weekend III - Huge Success - UPDATED!!!

Looking at the all the sites I can get on and reading what many of the players are saying as they leave Auburn, it appears that, BCW3 was a tremendous success, and a good time was had by all.

Garnering two commitments, including one that didn't even attend, is just the start that Coach Luper had hoped for this week. They are Shane Callahan, of Colorado and Mobile, AL (Vigor) DE Darius Philon.

Both of these young men are solid AU commits, and lead an impressive list of hopefuls to commit possibly as early as this week.

Here are some of the quotes from recruits who attended BCW3...

This is from 6'3" TE Ricky Parks from Hogansville, GA

"Auburn has a top lead on the other two schools," he said. `Much better relationship with the coaches every time I come. It gets better every time I come here." -HABOTN

This is from5'91/2" TB Jordan Huff from Mobile, AL

Huff had a good time at BCW. "Everybody was really close together like a family," he said. "We just went out and competed when we ate pie and watermelon. It was fun." -HABOTN

This from 4 star WR Jaquay Williams

"I haven't made my decision, yet, but I have a top three. It's Auburn, Ohio State and LSU for me. I don't know when I will announce my decision. I am trying to set up a plan right now, but I don't know an exact date. I'm going to hold a press conference. I just don't know when, yet. All of the three schools are equal right now." -Rivals (free)

Auburn now has 7 commitments for the 2012 signing class and several more players left stating that Auburn was now at the top, or in the top group on their list. Including Barry Sanders Jr. that Jay wrote about earlier.

Thank a Veteran today!

4star WR from Miami, FL Ricardo Louis committed to the Tigers today. Louis was an attendee at this weekends Big Cat festivities. Louis spurned offers from, Miami, Florida, Florida State, and Alabama among others. That's four in one week, and puts the Auburn recruiting momentum at an all time high for May.
