Auburn comes in ranked 23rd, one spot worse than they were last year. Historically, the AP poll has always treated the Tigers kinder than the coaches poll, but ever since last year, the latter has had us ranked a little higher.

Of all the record eight SEC teams appearing in the poll, Auburn is the one ranked last. In addition, we play every one of those teams this year, too, which has to be another kind of record.

As usual, take the results with a grain of salt because this year, they go down like castor oil.
