War Eagle, everybody It's a football Saturday morning once again! Today, the Auburn Tigers take on the 16th ranked Mississippi State Bulldogs, in Jordan Hare Stadium. Few pundits give Auburn much chance, after being manhandled up front by the Utah State Aggies last Saturday. In response, the Auburn coaches doubled up the amount of full contact work this week. Will it result in improved toughness, or will the Tiger legs be shot? Stay tuned to find out!
This game will be broadcast on the SEC Network at 11:21 AM CDT. It should be a beautiful day for football, with mostly clear skies and a high in the low 80s. SEC conference play begins today, and it's no time to fall behind in the standings. Auburn needs this game to avoid starting 0-1 in the SEC for the first time since 1992. Mississippi State needs this game to join the ranks of the title contenders. There should be no holds barred in this one!
