Quite a big drop-off in production for the group for week three. Although there were two less games to pick with 23, the high score was shared by Michiana Tiger and Teach Me How to Lutzie with 15 each. That's a far cry from the high score of 18 last week and 20 the first. I don't know about you, but my card was heavily laden with upset picks that failed to pan out. I agonized over whether to lay 45 for Alabama, changing my pick at at the last minute that they would cover. I should have known they'd be resting for Arkansas this week. All of us except one took Auburn in the upset. Howard's Rock must have known something we didn't.
We've got another 23 game slate this weekend. The spread on Yahoo is off for Auburn and FAU, but I read in the paper today that Vegas has it around 36. Please be reminded that there is one Friday night game this week, so don't miss that one.
It's STILL not to late to join. With three weeks down and with us throwing out your worst three weeks worth of picks, you can still get in on the action. Of course, you'll be working without a net, and after last week, I'm sure glad we have that added safety margin.
So after week three, Sparkey is still in the lead, but it's a wide-open field. The Top 25:
