AUsome Links: Softball, Willie Martinez and Death Valley

- Lost among the hype of college basketball, recruiting and the beginning of spring practice is the fact that Auburn's softball team is off to a roaring start at 14-0. The schedule heats up this weekend at the Citrus Classic in Florida, as Auburn plays five games (three against ranked teams). These girls have gone from being unranked in the preseason to being undefeated and ranked #19 in the country. War Eagle, girls!

- New secondary coach Willie Martinez is ready to evaluate Auburn's secondary. I can give him a hint: it hasn't been very good lately. As a matter of fact, if Auburn had had a secondary at all in 2010, not only would they have still gone undefeated, but they may have not played a close game all year. Let's see what Willie can do to improve the secondary.

- This isn't exactly Auburn news, but it's impactful nonetheless. LSU is moving foward with plans to expand Tiger Stadium. It's hard enough to win in Death Valley as it is, but now capacity's going to be over 100,000? Apparently their last crowd-induced earthquake wasn't enough for them.
