Auburn moved up one spot to No. 9 in the USA Today Coaches' Poll and held steady at No. 7 in the Associated Press Top 25 and No. 9 in the Harris Poll for Week 12. The Tigers' latest showing in the college football rankings comes after a 55-23 win at Tennessee.
Oregon, which lost Thursday night to Stanford, dropped from No. 2 in all three polls to No. 6 in the AP and Harris, and No. 7 in the coaches' rankings. The Cardinal moved up from No. 6 to No. 5 in all three. Baylor, after a dominating win over then-No. 10 Oklahoma, is closing in on Ohio State in the polls. The Bears moved up to No. 4, 69 points behind the Buckeyes in the Harris, 25 points behind in the coaches' poll and seven points behind in the AP rankings.
Georgia, Auburn's Week 12 opponent, returned to the rankings. The Bulldogs are 25th in the AP and Harris, and just on the outside of the coaches' poll.
