Davis is a three-star player, according to 247Composite, and he chose the Tigers over Alabama, LSU, South Carolina, Florida State and Clemson, among others. Standing 6'0 and weighing in at 225 pounds, he's listed as the 22nd-best inside linebacker and No. 21 in the state of Alabama.
Hamilton, a 6'1, 240-pound linebacker is rated as a four-star prospect in the 247Composite listings. He's tabbed as the 14th-best inside linebacker and the 12th-best player in the state of Alabama.
Davis is Auburn's fourth commit for 2014. A little small at linebacker, he would probably fit in nicely at the "Star" position. He's a good addition, and now, the Tigers just have to hold on to him for 9 1/2 months.
