The odds are posted for Auburn's upcoming game against Mississippi State, and the Tigers are currently seven-point favorites over the Bulldogs. Auburn and State meet Saturday night at Jordan-Hare Stadium.
The line opened with Auburn as a six-point favorite, according to OddsShark, and 5Dimes and BetOnline have moved the line slightly in the Tigers' favor. Unless a massive number of bets come in for the Bulldogs, it will be the third straight game in which Auburn is favored.
The Tigers are coming off a 38-9 win over Arkansas State, while the Bulldogs just hammered Alcorn State, 51-7. Both sides have potential injury concerns. Dee Ford, Justin Garrett and Jeffrey Whitaker all missed Auburn's first two games of the year, and Whitaker is definitely out for the game against State. Ford's and Garrett's statuses are less certain. Mississippi State quarterback Tyler Russell and starting running back LaDarius Perkins sat out the game against the Braves, but both are expected back for the the Week 3 tilt.
Kickoff is set for 6 p.m., and the game will be televised on ESPN2.
