For an in-depth look at the game ahead, I suggest checking out Matt Donaldson's piece that was published last night. The main story lines for this game will be whether or not South Carolina's porous run defense can slow Auburn down and just how well Auburn can keep Mike Davis in check when South Carolina has the ball.

For South Carolina, the best game plan they can really come with is pounding the ball with their running backs and relying on Dylan Thompson to hit the short underneath routes to move the ball. When they get into the red zone, it's likely going to take the running game to score points, though. Auburn's pass defense has been great when it comes to preventing scores.

For Auburn, it should just be business as usual. Hopefully the line blocks well and the passing game is effective when and if we need it. As I said in our staff predictions post I can see this game being a tough fight and I can see it being a big win for the Tigers. It's obvious Vegas is leaning towards the big win with a line like they've placed on this game.

The Game Thread will be up about two hours before kick-off. Until then, feel free to use this spot to discuss all the college football happenings of the day!
