The full article is behind the pay-wall, so I can't and won't divulge more than what you can get in the headline from his tweet, but there's some good information. It confirms what we've suspected: Auburn wants Coach Boom to come home.
Will it happen? Who knows. You can be sure other schools are pursuing Will Muschamp and that he'll be able to choose whatever he wants. You can also be sure Auburn will have other targets if they miss on Muschamp.
I still hold to my belief that Gus Malzahn wants to have a defensive coordinator in place before bowl practices. I don't know what other staff changes may be coming along with this, but I have visions of Tracy Rocker, Rodney Garner, and Travaris Robinson all on the same team...
I know it's not always a good idea to go alumni-heavy when picking a staff, but those three - combined with Dameyune Craig on the offensive side of the ball - would make for a killer staff. These are just dreams right now, but who knows?
