War Eagle, everybody. Walt has asked everyone joining the team to introduce ourselves so let's get after it. My name is Franklin Featherston and I fell in love with Auburn five years ago when my sister decided to attend school on the Plains. I knew from my first visit that I was addicted to everything surrounding the navy and orange. I take plenty of criticism as I currently live in Arkansas, but always stand firm amongst all the loyal Razorback supporters. I've already started feeling the heat from friends as the season opener quickly approaches and Bret Bielema brings his squad to Auburn on August 30th.
I will be covering the SEC for College and Mag, specifically looking around the league on a weekly basis as Auburn looks to return to Atlanta and repeat as SEC champs! I am very knowledgeable when it comes to the best conference in the country, and I look forward to covering life around the SEC as Auburn navigates the always-entertaining SEC west.
As most Auburn supporters, I am very excited to see what Gus Malzahn does in his second year on the Plains. Being from Arkansas, I've been able to witness Coach Malzahn's rise to the top of college football, and I think the sky is the limit for the Auburn Tigers!
