After two Saturdays off with an off week and then a Thursday night game, the Auburn Tigers will once again take the field on a fall football Saturday to face the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs.
Louisiana Tech has a history of giving the Tigers fits, but I don't foresee that being the case this weekend. I think the Tigers will roll with this one fairly easily. It should be a showcase of how the passing game has improved and we'll see a good bit of the zone read that Zone Read Ninja Nick Marshall is excellent at running.
It will be the end of a long weekend for yours truly that started with teaching class Thursday morning and then driving to Statesboro for a football game Thursday night. Friday night was spent at an absolutely rocking show at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville with Wade Bowen opening for the Randy Rogers Band. During the night Sean McConnell and Radney Foster both were on stage and it was fantastic.
Today I'm walking the campus of the Loveliest Village for Homecoming (though probably still driving from Nashville to Auburn when this posts) and ready to get things back to normal. It's time for Auburn Football. It's time to do what we do.
On to vict'ry, strike up the band.
