Auburn Softball Holds Inaugural Alumni Game

Auburn Softball holds first Alumni game

Clint Myers and his current group of Tigers welcomed back former players this weekend during the Homecoming activities surrounding the LaTech game played on Saturday. This was the official kickoff to the Fall practice season and allow the fans to see some of their favorite softball alums play again. Just a few of the alums to appear were Holly Curie, Myesha Finney, and Elizabeth Eisterhold. The current Tigers and alums even treated the fans that gathered to a great exhibition game that was won by the current players 11-1 in a complete seven inning games.

A few of the highlights included:

Jade Rose hitting a 2-run homer off the flag pole in the bottom of the first

Morgan Estell with a 2-run single

Anna Gibbs with a moonshot homer over the left field wall

With this much offense and the defense continuing to look good, the Tigers may make some serious noise in the SEC next year.

Season tickets for the 2015 season will go on sale on October 6th. If you wish to purchase tickets, fans may do so on or by calling 1-855-282-2010.
