First, if you haven't seen it yet, Auburn is wearing a different uniform tonight. All we've seen so far is the shorts:

I'm sure we can assume the shirt will bear a similar patter. I can't say that I'm too thrilled about them, but I'll withhold judgement until they're out on the court. Personally, I'm not a fan of the white basketball uniforms, anyway. As much as I love the football stormtrooper uniform, I love seeing some color on the basketball court.
Second is some news per Mizzou beat writer Dave Matter that Montaque Gill-Caesar is not playing tonight. The freshman guard is Missouri's second leading scorer and rebounder so far this season. His not being on the court tonight could be a big advantage for the home Tigers in tonight's match-up.
Auburn is looking to rebound from the opening home loss to Vanderbilt. Auburn didn't deserve to win that game, but they still had good chances to do it. Hopefully they play well enough tonight to pull it out. Transitive victories don't mean anything, but Auburn did defeat Xavier, who beat Missouri.
It's the SEC home opener. Students are coming back into town (but apparently weren't given first entry into the Jungle just yet), and hopefully Auburn Arena is rocking.
