Final Visitor List

Since it's Saturday evening, I figure we're now done with the arrivals, so we can tell you exactly who showed up. Information pulled from Twitter, AL.com's recruiting info, and 247Sports.

Official Visit

Byron Cowart, 5* DE. Reportedly down to Auburn, Florida, and Florida State

CeCe Jefferson, 5* DE. His two former primary recruiters at Florida and Alabama are now on Auburn's staff

Terry Godwin, 5* WR/ATH. A Georgia commitment, and not a likely flip, but just getting him in town this weekend is big.

Terry Beckner, Jr, 5* DT. This will be Beckner's very first visit to Auburn. Hopefully he's blown away by the town.

Trent Thompson, 5* DT. A Georgia commit, and not likely to flip, but if he's going to be in town for this weekend, that's something.

Jauntavius Johnson, 4* DT. An Auburn commit, and likely to stick with the Tigers.

Tim Irvin, 4* DB. A Texas commit, and an early enrollee. Auburn is trying hard to flip him this weekend and could do it.

Torrance Gibson, 4* QB/ATH. Gibson is an Ohio State commit. It's possible he could flip, but doubtful. He wants a shot at quarterback, and he would get it (similar to Jason Smith), but likely ends up a stud wide receiver for someone.

Ryan Davis, 4* WR. I really don't know much about Davis, to be honest. I assume this is another target in case we miss on Burt.

Jordan Colbert, 4* S. An Auburn commit from my hometown of Griffin, GA. He has been big on Auburn since his commitment and has shown no signs of wavering.

Darrell Williams, 4* LB. Auburn commit.

Montavius Atkinson, 4* LB. Auburn commit.

D'Anfernee McGriff, 4* ATH. Auburn commit.

Elijah Sullivan, 4* LB. Auburn commit.

Marquel Harrell, 4* OL. Auburn commit.

Sheldrick Redwine, 3* CB. Redwine recently committed to Louisville, and has just received an offer from Auburn as of about a week and a half ago.

Jalen Harris, 3* TE. Auburn commit.

Unofficial Visit

And here's where it gets interesting and fun.

Martez Ivey, 5* OT. Ivey is coming into town on an unofficial visit. That he's coming at all before making his decision (he was originally going to name his school at the US Army All-American Bowl) and before Gus Malzahn has his in-home visit is big. Ivey's best friend is Auburn early enrollee Chandler Cox.

Jeffrey Holland, 4* LB. Holland recently named Auburn his leader, and the Tigers are trending heavily. The fight was between Florida and Auburn before Will Muschamp left the Gators, but now that he is at Auburn, it gives the Tigers a big advantage. He is also (per Twitter) traveling to Auburn for this visit with a good friend... 5* DE CeCe Jefferson. Hopefully Holland fills Jefferson's head with good things about the town on the way up and back.

Kerryon Johnson, 4* RB/ATH. An Auburn commit, I have seen on Twitter that Johnson intends to be in town for this weekend.

Nate Craig-Myers, 2016 5* WR. Craig-Myers committed to Auburn a few months back, though he has said that he's open to looking around. It's going to be very hard for the Tigers to hold on to him. He's considered one of the top prospects in the nation for the 2016 class, and Florida State is definitely working him hard.

So that's five 5* on official visits, and two on unofficial visits. Safe to say this is a MASSIVE weekend on the Plains. The weather could not have cooperated any better, either. After more than a week of overcast, rain, and general dreariness and cold, the sun came out and it was high 50s / low 60s.
