4* DE prospect and Auburn target Prince Tega Wanogho, Jr has suffered a severe leg injury while playing basketball tonight. The news was first reported on Twitter by Ethan Bernal (@EthanGBernal) and first brought to my attention by Sam Butler.

For those who don't know, Tega transferred from Nigeria. First year playing football and now has offers from across the country.

He caught a long pass and was rolled on trying to score. He immediately started screaming, and his leg was dangling

Right leg. To me, looks like it's snapped at the shin.

Tega just left in an ambulance. It's his left leg

Tega was recently reclassified to the Class of 2015 and earned a 4* grade of 96 according to the 247Sports Composite. He was garnering strong interest from a number of programs around the country.
We can only hope this injury is not as serious as the tweets make it seem. For a young man who just transferred in from Nigeria and seemed to have a very bright future ahead of him in football, this is tragic news if the injury is major. We will update the story as more info comes out.
