Auburn vs Alabama Game Open Thread

Your place to talk about tonight's Iron Bowl on the hard court.

John Reed-USA TODAY Sports

Coverage for this game is going to be a little sparse, as most of the usual folks are busy, tonight. Personally, I'm at Camp Blanding in Florida helping out with the Ranger Challenge competition for all the Senior ROTC programs in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, and Florida. I'm hoping I get done with my tasking in time to catch a good bit of the game, but I'm really not holding my breath on that.

Auburn looks to snap a losing streak in Coleman Coliseum that goes back to 2009. They are also seeking just their 9th win in program history in Tuscaloosa. That's a pretty mind-blowing stat when you think about it.

Alabama is heavily favored given their much better record, better statistics, and the fact that it's a home game. It will be very tough for Auburn to pull this game out. In fact, I would say it is going to absolutely require Auburn to play a complete 40 minutes of basketball and minimize the sloppy turnovers. We'll see if the Tigers can do that.

So wherever you are, sit back and soak it in, 'cause it's time for Auburn basketball.
