This was mentioned two weeks ago during the recruiting mega weekend when 2016 defensive lineman Quinnen Williams tweeted that he was committing to Auburn. After visiting this weekend and speaking to Auburn's coaches that commitment is now official.
247Sports' AuburnUndercover first reported the news this afternoon. Williams is a bit of a sleeper, it appears. Or at least we hope. He's rated as the #31 defensive tackle in the nation according to the 247Sports composite. Williams is 6'4", 265 lbs, and is from Birmingham. He was also getting interest from Ole Miss.
Defensive tackle is definitely a spot of need for Auburn. We still have a few days left in the 2015 cycle, but Auburn only has a few defensive tackles in the list, and we've lost a ton from last year. Montravius Adams is going to be a junior this season, and who knows whether or not he will stick around for his senior season. So, getting defensive tackles in next season's class is going to be huge.

Williams is the fifth commitment from Auburn's 2016 class. It consists of one of the nation's top players in WR Nate Craig-Myers, Stephen Davis, Jr, (yes, the son of THAT Stephen Davis), TE Landon Rice, and all-purpose back Jalin Buie
