Poor Cincinnati. When was the last time Tommy's team had a Saturday game? This is at least their third weeknight (kinda) game in a row, right? Well, they take on a tough game at BYU later on tonight. Two ranked teams play tonight, too, but neither of those games should be too tough.
So how does Saturday's slate look? The noon slate sees a couple of ranked teams playing. #22 Toledo (yep, they're ranked) hosts Eastern Michigan. #2 (yep, #2) Baylor hosts West Virginia. #17 Iowa (what the?) is at #20 Northwestern (yeah, I give up on this season). And #13 Ole Miss is at Memphis in what should be a good game, too.
Your 3:30 SEC game is #10 Alabama at #9 Texas A&M. I don't even know what to think about that one. #7 Michigan State is at #12 Michigan in that time slot, too. The night games see #8 Florida at #6 LSU. If Will Grier were playing I'd be a bit more interested in that one. I'll be in Statesboro, personally, watching Georgia Southern take on New Mexico State at that time. Want to watch the best running back you've never heard of? Well tune in to ESPN3 for that one. Matt Breida will probably do Matt Breida things (like average 10+ per carry on the season).
Honestly? That's about it for good match-ups. Arizona State is at Utah, and that could be a good one. Or Utah could steamroll them as they have plenty of others. But, hey, it's a second straight weekend you can watch whatever you want since Auburn is already done for the week. So enjoy the football watching, folks! I know I will, since I'll be in my Second Football Home tailgating in the Paulson Stadium parking lot and then watching my Eagles in the Prettiest Little Stadium in America. Enjoy the weekend, everyone! War Eagle!
