BASEBALL
The 2015 Fall World Series is going on, and the Blue team defeated the Orange team 4-0 in Game 1. This is all being overseen without a full-time head coach.
On the subject of that head coaching position, Kendall Rogers of D1Baseball.com had some intriguing tweets on the subject.
#Auburn search getting pretty intriguing. One very, very good, rising HC, has thrown his name into the hat there. Stay tuned. #WDE

#AU might surprise me and move fast, but I still have a sneaking suspicion it doesn’t move until Golloway feud is finished.

I honestly have no clue who that head coach may be. I'm very interested, though.
GOLF
The 2nd ranked men's team finished third in their tournament behind Alabama and Florida.
SOCCER
The official site has a profile on junior defender Kiana Clarke and how she's helped this team's rise over the last three seasons.
FOOTBALL
Peggy wrote an Undercover Barner about taking her mom to the Homecoming Game. You know, her mother who just smacked cancer. You should definitely read it!
Gus Malzahn met with the media Tuesday evening instead of Tuesday morning, so you may have missed the Tweet-cap of his time with the press. He addressed the situation with Duke Williams in his usual way (i.e. not saying much of anything), injury situations, and position battles.
With the Duke dismissal, there's room for other receivers to step up according to Gus in that press conference. Marcus Davis, Melvin Ray, Stanton Truitt, and Tony Stevens come to mind. I'd really love to see Tony Stevens do something given his size.
We're in the second round of going through Ryan Sterritt's "Sterritt Score" for ranking college football teams. With it still being a small sample size, the rankings are still a little strange. It'll be fun to see where things go from here.
Tight-end Jalen Harris is healing "emotionally" following his horrible accident on Sunday evening. If you've seen the pictures, then you know he is one lucky young man.
ESPN discussed how Auburn's offense will be affected by the departure of Duke Williams. I can't think it'll be all that much, since Duke wasn't exactly getting the ball thrown to him very much. And on the note of his dismissal, AL.com collected social media reactions to the news.
There was some nice action for former Tigers in the NFL this week. Robenson Therezie started at Free Safety for the Falcons in their dismantling of Houston, and Cameron Artis-Payne saw a number of plays for Carolina.
