News and notes from the Auburn corners of the Internet

Shanna Lockwood-USA TODAY Sports

BASKETBALL

Well dang it, Auburn jumped out to an early lead and were playing fantastic, but they just couldn't keep it up (and the refs didn't help). They ultimately fell 91-85 to the Colorado Buffaloes.

GYMNASTICS

The Tigers signed three for the 2017 class. Hopefully they can continue the rise of Auburn's Gym Tigers!

EQUESTRIAN

The Equestrian Team is ranked #1 in the latest poll, meaning Auburn is now ranked #1 in Equestrian and Golf! War Eagle.

FOOTBALL

There's only a few days left, but please do what you can for the Beat Bama Food Drive! That's all Peggy is asking of you in this week's Undercover Barner.

Do you like mashups of football and 70s TV shows? Of course you do! So check out the awesome video WarRoom Eagle did and the article on just how long it's been since Verne and Gary have been back to Auburn after they said they should come here more often.

Gus met with the media yesterday afternoon and updated the QB situation, the running back choices, injuries, and more! Right now, we know that Jeremy Johnson will "probably" start against the Vandals. As for the running backs, why didn't Jovon play more in the second half? Wesley Sinor discusses it on al.com.

It's bowl speculation season! Where might the Tigers end up (assuming they defeat Idaho). Could they go to the Birmingham Bowl? Eh, maybe? But that would likely be a hit to the Birmingham tourism industry, since no one would spend money on hotels since they could just travel, so I have a feeling that game will push for the SEC to place Auburn elsewhere.

How did former Tigers in the NFL do last week? Well, here's one hint: Cam did pretty well, again.
