Tahj Shamsid-Deen has played through so much this season, but they finally decided it's better for his long-term health to sit the rest of the year and have surgery on his shoulders to repair them.

Tahj has been nothing but a warrior through the injuries he's suffered. During the Arkansas game he reached for a steal, brushed the ball, and immediately came up in horrible pain. He's been through so much and continued to play. Hopefully with this he's able to return to full health next season. He has been such a huge part of Auburn's defense and will be sorely missed, going forward.
Meanwhile, Antoine Mason is still with his ailing father in New York following the heart issues he suffered this past week.

The initial reports were that his father was fighting for his life, but he's held on for two days since then, so hopefully he will fully recover. Anthony Mason has been a staple on the side court of nearly every Auburn game this season - including road games. We wish him the best and hope he fully recovers.
