Equestrian. Off. They return to action this Saturday against South Carolina in Blythewood, S.C.

Men's Golf. Off last week,  but they will start a tournament down in Mobile, today. It will run through tomorrow.

Women's Golf. The men are just beginning play in a tournament today, so there's nothing to report on them from last week. The ladies, however, were in action early last week down in Puerto Rico. They took 10th in the Puerto Rico Classic. Arkansas took the overall event title, with LSU coming in 2nd. The ladies will return to action March 6-8th in Hilton Head Island, S.C.

Gymnastics. The gymnastics team continues to set records, as they broke their all-time road performance record Friday night with a 196.875 - 195.850 victory over Missouri. Megan Walker and Caitlin Atkinson shared the Bars title with 9.875s, Walker took the Beam by herself with a 9.900, and Lexus Demers won the Floor with 9.875. Mizzou's Becca Schugel won the all-around title. The Tigers return home this Friday night for a huge meet against 11th ranked Georgia at Auburn Arena.

Softball. I hope to have more up very soon on just how the Softball team is doing. They suffered their first loss of the season to the defending Ivy League champ Dartmouth down in Tampa at the USF Wilson/DeMarini Classic, but they rebounded to win the rest of the games in the tournament. That included getting their revenge over Darthmouth and blanking tournament host USF in the tournament final.

Swimming and Diving. It wasn't the best week for the Auburn Tigers at the SEC Championships, but they did finish the tournament with two victories. Fraser McKean came away with the men's platform dive, and the men's 400m freestyle team won their event for the 10th straight season. The men's team finished third, and the ladies finished 6th in the tournament.

Men's Tennis. The men took part in the Blue Gray Classic in Montgomery over the weekend. They fell to #38 Texas Tech on Friday, but bounced back with a win over Boise State on Saturday. They were scheduled to play in the consolation final, but the match was postponed due to weather. They will open SEC play on Thursday in Auburn against South Carolina.

Women's Tennis. Off. They will open SEC play against South Carolina in Columbia on Saturday.

Track and Field. Auburn's T&F teams were all over the place this past weekend. Junior Jessie Johnson broke the school record (which was also hers) in the pole vault. Senior Kane Grimster won the mile at the Husky Invitational with a 4:04.73, which I can't even begin to contemplate. I'm lucky if I finish a half mile in that time. Freshman Grant Schumacher won the high jump at the LSU High Performance Meet. Five Tigers went to South Bend, IN for a meet, and two came away victorious, SheKara Martin and Teray Smith; both in the 60m finals. The SEC Indoor Championships will be the Tigers' next event, this Friday and Saturday in Lexington, KY.
