News and notes from the Auburn corner of the Internet

John David Mercer-USA TODAY Sports

Auburn's six game home losing streak is the worst since the 1993-94 season, according to the Montgomery Advertiser. The Tigers will have one more chance to end that streak with a home game against Georgia next weekend.

The ladies play in Nashville tonight and are trying to finish the season on a high note after notching their first SEC win of the season last Sunday against Georgia.

The Alabama A&M game that was supposed to be played yesterday will be played today, instead. Don't forget this weekend's change in plans as the Tigers will face Oklahoma State on Saturday afternoon. Auburn's marketing department is in full-on awesome mode with the branding for the event:

Don't forget there's much more going on this weekend on the Plains! There's a Top 10 gymnastics meet, a softball tournament, and more! You can find out exactly what, when, and where in Everett's round up of events.

Ok, so it's not big stuff, but it's news. Auburn's spring practice is set to begin on March 10th, which is only about a week and half away. A-Day will kick off at 1pm on April 18th. This will be the first A-Day I'll have to miss since 2010. It should also be available for streaming online, though. We'll have all that information for you when we get closer to game day.

The Columbus Ledger-Enquirer has a good round up of notes and quotes from Will Muschamp and Gus Malzahn over the past few weeks and beyond that give a good indication of what we may expect to see out of Auburn's defense in 2015.

ESPN is still in "off season list mode," and there are a few of them, to report, today. They rank the pre-spring WR talent in the SEC, and place Auburn at 6th. They rank the desirability of each SEC coaching job and place Auburn at... 6th again. They go beyond that and do a direct comparison of which job is more attractive: Auburn or Texas A&M? It's really just a point-counterpoint thing, to be honest.

Auburn will post it's Pro Day next Tuesday, March 3rd. 21 former Tigers will be there to perform for NFL scouts. CJ Uzomah and Corey Grant will get the chances they should have had at the Combine. I really think Grant would have come away with the fastest 40 time at the Combine, and Uzomah definitely belonged with those Tight-ends.
