National Signing Day 2015: Auburn Tigers Recruiting Headquarters

This is where all of the information will be stored.

Shanna Lockwood-USA TODAY Sports

This is it. Today is the day. All of the hard work, the long miles and hours, the phone calls and texts, they all come down to today.

Every year on the first Wednesday of February, college football obsessives flock to their computers and TVs to see where the nation's top high school talents will go. Who is going to have the most outrageous ceremony? Will someone pull out a baby bulldog? A baby gator? Unfortunately, I don't think we'll be able to see a baby tiger unless it's a stuffed animal.

Many of the prospects who will sign with Auburn today have been recruited by the Tigers for more than two years. Some of them have only recently been recruited. Some of them have had their recruiters and coaches change from one school to the other. They have agonized over the decision of where they want to play football for the next few years of their life.

It's hard to imagine the pressure some of these prospects go through. For some it's an easy decision. Others will stress over it until the fax is sent. Some will later realize they made the wrong choice. Some of the biggest names won't pan out, and somewhere there is a tiny kid no one really looked at who turns into Karlos Dansby or Sammie Coates.

Auburn is not going to sign every big name player they targeted in this cycle. Hopefully our fans refrain from callous attacks on 17-18 year old young men who are making huge life choices if they're unhappy with the choice they make.

War Eagle, everyone. Now let's get this party started.
