Auburn Recruiting: Final Predictions

With Wednesday being National Signing Day for the 2015 recruiting class, we've put our heads together and come up with a few predictions on where some of the key Auburn targets may be faxing their Letters of Intent. The Tigers are currently sitting at 21 commitments and looking to add more. With up to eight more spots to fill, will Wednesday be a BOOM! or a bust?

Ok, you're looking at that and thinking "What a bunch of homers!" Yeah, maybe we are a bit homeriffic with the picks, but why not? [/starts a "We Believe" chant] We are sure to be wrong on a few of them, but maybe we're right on some too. Let us know where you agree or disagree with our picks.

Will there be surprises? It's recruiting! Of course there will! Trying to figure out who will the surprises be is the hard part. Watch for GG Robinson, current Louisville commit. The Auburn legacy received a late offer from Muschamp just before signing day. If Auburn misses on some of the WR targets listed above, then keep an eye for Camion Patrick or Dominique Reed to pop up. Also, We expect Ray-Ray McCloud III and Deon Cain to stick with their commitments to Clemson, but would be thrilled to see one or both end up on the Plains. That would certainly qualify as a surprise.

Signing Day will be a good day for Auburn. Gus Malzahn and the rest of the coaches have done a pretty good job of filling team needs and doing so with quality talent. There will be players in this class who can come in next fall and make an immediate impact.
