Auburn vs LSU Game Open Thread

Randy Sartin-USA TODAY Sports

Auburn travels to Baton Rouge tonight to take on the LSU Tigers. It will be a tough match-up, since LSU is one of the better teams in the SEC and Auburn has struggled on the road. To say the least.

Auburn will be going with its typical line up of KT Harrell, Cinmeon Bowers, Tahj Shamsid-Deen, Antoine Mason, and Jordan Granger. Tahj in particular has been playing with numerous injuries over the past few weeks. It's really pretty amazing that he's able to play at all.

Is this team capable of winning tonight? Yes. If they play their best, don't commit stupid turnovers, and don't get bogged down in a slow start. However, I've said that for pretty much every one of the last few games, and the Tigers have not been able to accomplish that feat.

30 points is the magic number. Auburn has not won an SEC game where it fails to score 30 points in the first half. However, even if they miss that number, I'm sure they'll still fight hard until the end. They have every game, and that's why they're still fun to watch.
