2015 Softball Women's College World Series Bracket

The field is set, and the games will begin on Thursday.

It looks like the committee did a pretty good job with their seeding of the NCAA Tournament. There are eight spots in the Women's College World Series, and they are all filled with the eight national seeds. To make things even more fun, five of them are SEC teams.

The SEC went into the Super Regional round representing half of the field. There was an SEC team playing in all but one of the eight Super Regionals. Florida and Kentucky were matched against other, while Oregon faced North Carolina State. Kentucky was eliminated by Florida, Georgia was knocked out by Michigan, and Missouri was defeated by UCLA.

With the way the brackets are split in the WCWS, Auburn is on a side with three other SEC teams. They will face LSU in game one at 1:30pm CDT on Thursday. The other game in Auburn's half of the bracket will be Florida vs Tennessee. Alabama is the lone SEC team on the other half of the bracket. The Crimson Tide will face Michigan. The final match-up is Oregon vs UCLA.

NCAA Bracket

The WCWS is a double-elimination tournament to determine the two finalists. Those teams then play a best of 3 series for all the marbles.

For the entire bracket, you can check out the NCAA Softball Bracket page. If you're planning on making the trip out to Oklahoma City, tickets can be ordered here.
