Auburn vs Louisville Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game Time & Auburn vs LSU

Two Auburn football games have times and channels announced.

Shanna Lockwood-USA TODAY Sports

This morning, CBS Sports put out a press release announcing that two of Auburn's early season games will be on CBS and both will begin at 3:30pm EST.

Those games? The Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game against Louisville on September 5th and the LSU game in Baton Rouge on September 19th.

Quick Analysis

Louisville

Having the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game as a 3:30 game is a bit different from recent years. It has typically been one of the night games on ESPN, I believe. At least it will leave us able to watch the other big-time opening day games that night.

LSU

Auburn vs LSU will be a day game? WOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!  NO NIGHT GAME IN TIGER STADIUM THIS TIME!!!!!!!!!

Ok, back to normal, now.

Auburn has played very few day games in Tiger Stadium over the last 15 years. There was the 2011 game (which was bad), and before that the only one I'm certain of is 1999. That is, also, the last time Auburn defeated LSU in Baton Rouge.

That game featured the amazing over-the-shoulder Damon Duval fake field goal (before Les Miles did it)

Personally, I couldn't be happier about this one.
